THE MONSTER

This popular
children's play has been performed throughout the US and
internationally. Monique, an outcast
at school, does battle with various enemies, real
and imagined, until one day she is swept through a storm drain into the
magical world of the Underdark. There, she is required to go on a quest
to defeat a mysterious monster. But, as she and those who
join her on the quest discover, things are often not what they seem to
be on the surface. A play that advocates diversity,
tolerance, and the following of one's own individual path.
Productions: The Monster has been produced throughout
the US and
internationally from 1996-present, including a two-year run by the Purple Rose Theatre in Michigan.
